Jason Isaacs Swing Experience

Swing Fever will take you back to the glorious "Rat Pack" heyday, with its unparalleled big band sound, celebrating some of the best-loved songs in popular memory, and sung to you by today's swing sensation, Britain's favourite crooner himself, Jason Isaacs!

Prepare to be stirred into a frenzy by the all-time high-kicking anthem New York, New York, shaken up by some of Elvis's greats and serenaded with beautiful classics like Beyond The Sea and Mr Bojangles.

Smooth and effortless with an electric stage persona, charismatic cool and a endearing sense of humour, Jason, accompanied by the fabulous Ambassadors of Swing, delivers an unforgettable evening, celebrating an era that is as exciting and engaging now as it ever was.

An evening with Jason Isaacs is always "a night to remember".

Jason was born in Newcastle and as a boy dreamt of travelling the world playing music. This dream started to become a reality when one Christmas morning Jason was given a saxophone by his parents, and he immediately locked himself away for hours at a time, and with total dedication he began to hone his craft.

By the age of 21, when his taste for adventure took him to Thailand, Jason was a highly accomplished musician, able to support himself through regular gigs with a rhythm and blues band in Bangkok.

Moving next to New York, personal highlights of his Big Apple year included playing with Blue Lou, of The Blues Brothers fame and, at an Emmy Awards party, singing with the legendary Tony Bennett.

Much of the next 10 years Jason spent in Munich, Germany, then Marbella, Spain, where he performed to growing crowds night after night. He soon realised he could bowl an audience over not only with his saxophone playing, but also - indeed especially - with his voice.

By the time he moved back to Newcastle, Jason the singer was in full flow, and a love of the Rat Pack classics meant he was destined to seek out big band accompaniment and star in his own theatre shows.

In 2010, Jason's wife secretly entered him into ITV's search to find Britain's Favourite Crooner through the Alan Titchmarsh Show. Jason dutifully headed down to London - and won!

Loved by audiences not only for his fabulous vocals, but an easy ability to charm and a great sense of fun, Jason has cracked the Edinburgh Festival numerous times with sell-out shows at major venues and five star reviews.

Responding to popular demand, he is now taking his performances further afield. This swing fever tour with the fabulous Ambassadors of Swing is the culmination of years of playing and a great deal of singing, delighting countless thousands of people all over the world in the process!

Jason Isaacs warmly invites you to share a wonderful night of great music.

Jason Isaacs is accompanied by the outstanding sound of the Ambassadors of Swing. Founded 16 years ago the band have been a regular on the circuit playing dates with visiting artists from the US such as the great trumpet player Bobby Shew.

Today, the 11-strong outfit has three saxophones, three trumpets, two trombones and a three-piece rhythm section, and having hooked up with Jason six years ago, it now dedicates performances to his concerts.
